Up and down like ...
... a w*o*e's knickers :-) ... the spoiler that is. In my view 80 km/h is way too early for this thing to deploy in everyday driving, and it happens all around town pretty easily as it's tough to stay below that speed in these beasts. I'd love it if there was a sneaky way to set my own limits for each driving mode (like there is to reset the default turn indicator flashes with the windshield wiper stalk)??

Play with the dash settings using the steering wheel buttons, or go into the center interface on the center console. But I've seen it in the dash settings before. (car has to be not moving to access settings of course)
I also agree with Joe on the up part, I don't think you can leave it in down but explore the dash settings, I don't have a RCF but used to move new inventory so I played with the settings before in the cars.

The spoiler goes up in eco mode too, but at 80 mph instead. Read the manual.
Yes people, you can leave the wing UP or DOWN all the time if you want. I leave it up all the time, and can attest it stays there even with the trunk open. I only lower it when washing the car. Okay, to turn it off, with the wing down or raised, go to the dash menu settings (controlled by the right arrows/buttons on the steering wheel), and turn 'wing spoiler' off, and it'll stay where it was. Haven't tried it down all the time either, but should work (turn it off with the car stopped). Want to try that on my next trip, and see if I feel a difference at high speeds. I live at almost 4K' of altitude, and when I did a 'quick' blast on my last trip, the car was agonizingly slow to pick up speed, and aborted at a buck thirty, expecting to at least hit a buck fifty in that stretch. The GTR got to a buck sixty in much less distance; I knew it was quicker, but didn't expect it to be that much quicker. Anyway, don't know how much the wing slows the car down at high speeds. Maybe somebody else will have the chance to experiment with that before me. Let me know.

No need to turn car off; just be stopped so you can access the settings menu. If you want to raise the wing, keep the button pressed until it's fully deployed (and light turns on), or it'd go down again. THEN go to the settings and turn the feature off. If you want to keep the wing down, just turn the wing off (it'd be already down if active), and it should stay down all the time. But again, haven't tried that, but it's easy to try. With the feature off, shouldn't deploy again. I'm curious how much of a difference it makes at high speeds in terms of drag. Hopefully an enterprising owner will find out for me. Ha ha.

Indeed, especially in C/F. That's why I always keep it up too. But it might have too much downforce for high speeds, which is probably unnecessary in mostly straight roads, and might add too much drag. Curious about some tests. My car feels too slow, but could be the same with the wing stowed. Only one way to find out. To be fair, just finished break-in, but was expecting the car to be a little quicker, even at my 3,800' of altitude. Will try a bottle of Boostane and see if it makes a noticeable difference. On trips, might turn off the wing stowed for less drag on highways where I can push the car a little. Hopefully somebody will do some tests before.
