Default Did lexus make too many RC-F's?

i see a bunch on ebay for sale, and someone here just got one for 1K below invoice in va. That
dealer by the way i think has 10 rcfs!

just what i am noticing. Seems price goes down by 10-15 grand when someone tries to sell with under 10k miles.

i hope the gs f fares better.

some dealerships have over 20 in stock

i think dealerships were too optimistic about sales and held strong on no bargain for too long

What, there's like 7-8 RCF's on Ebay & i Don't see ANY of them with a BIG Discount & the ones i seen only had 2-4k miles on them? & Who on here got one for 1k below invoice in Va. did they list the Dealership? Last time someone on here said he got his discounted 8k off sticker he WOULDN'T say who the Dealership was. by the way IF you see an RCF for 55-60k i would love to know WHERE (you said they seem to go down by 10-15k under 10k miles & this is being very liberal with the price, stock RCF with 10-15k off would be around 48-53k & i haven't seen ANY at this Price). WHERE are these?

Maybe Lexus made too many, but it's hard to tell just yet. As far as those deep discounts, I bet they're the 'executive' cars with 4 to 6K miles many dealers were 'forced' to purchase. My local dealer had 2 of them. Sales guy said if they want to keep getting new cars, they better not refuse such 'offers'. They sound like Walmart. Having said that, with the exception of Ferrari (and many other boutique manufacturers, like Koenigsegg, Pagani, etc), most other manufacturers build more than they can sell, and end up relying on incentives to move them out, killing the used car market. Same thing with the GTR. Nissan had a crapload of leftover 2014s, and they still didn't adjust production of 2015s. When I inquired why the hell I was losing over 30 grand, they pointed out the $10K incentives in place (now that I traded it, down to $5K) for a brand new one, so that's an automatic $10K extra loss on top of the depreciation. Hope Lexus doesn't screw up like that. We'll find out soon enough.

Does anybody have current US and worldwide sales numbers of the RC-F? Just curious.

I can't speak to US, but I got mine in Canada with $5,000 Lexus Canada advertised incentive plus another $5,000 unadvertised incentives from Lexus Canada. Total factory incentive $10,000. Then negotiated another $4,000 off. Maybe they are trying to get rid of the remaining 2015 model year, MY2016 should arrive in the next month or so.

Holy crap! You got the deal of a lifetime. I should have waited for a 2016, but my problem was I'd have lost more on my GTR, so had to reluctantly pull the trigger on a '15. Didn't want to shell out any cash (got $2,800 back). And not exactly the car I wanted (but the color combo and equipment, yes), due to having 74 miles, scuffs from the showroom, and 2 rattles from the door panel and edge of headliner. Oh well, but first and last new car I buy like that (always get them fresh off the truck). Just hope nothing changes in 2016... or I'll be pissed. Ha ha. Enjoy it buddy.

Lurker here for the last week, decided to register and chime in here. I think all Canadian dealers are doing this. Just offered the same deal as DoubleL out here in Calgary on a brand new Orange RCF with performance package. $10k incentive + $5k discount. You can even lease the thing at 0% (with a $7500 security deposit) or 0.9% with no deposit, which makes the car cheaper to lease over 3 years than a BMW 335 lol.

And yea, only on the 2015's to clear them out.

Would you mind sharing what the terms are of your lease are? And the monthly payment?

Exclamation

I wouldn't be judging RC F new car sales based on EBAY used car listings..

Also the GS F will be slated as a low volume seller.. Maybe even less than the GS450 h for those who follow sale numbers

Again for the RC F, I will say if a dealership has 10+, 20+ or 30+ sitting in inventory, there are some GREAT deals to be made right now.. Invoice & below..

SoCal dealerships are flooded with RC F units in stock..

Just look around on their individual websites.

If a dealership has ONE unit in stock, you're probally not getting a deal on it.

Anyone need help getting an awesome deal in SoCal, just let me know.. I know exactly where to send you.. Or just visit my Instagram page to follow the F's

I'm the VA guy that bought one for $5,000 off MSRP and $1,000 below invoice. Between the two dealerships I went to, one dealer had 3 RCF's (all white, one with Carbon package), the other dealer had 5 RCF's, all standard loadout, no carbon.

Resale is what I'm more concerned with than anything since these things aren't selling but instead sitting on the lots for 6-8 months.

BTW these were the three dealerships that offered me the RCF for $68,000'ish.

- San Diego Lexus (they went $1600 below the $68,000 since I told them I wanted them to pay to ship cross-country)
- Lexus of Richmond (where I bought, they have 4 more on the lot)
Charles Barker Lexus (they have 3 on the lot, one with carbon package as well)
