Default New owner yellowed clear oem bra

I picked my ultra wht RCF up Saturday after trading in a 15 vette on it. Must say I love the car and have no complaints. The car is amazing to me, not real fast but does everything well with the quality of a Lexus one would expect. However, washing the car today I notice the oem bra is yellowed pretty bad which seems strange to me. Is that something that would be covered under warranty or should I just pull it off and have it redone by someone local?

It is covered, but you might think through putting another on the F. I would explore other options.

I plead ignorance, what other options are there that do what ppf does?

I had great success with ppf on a black G37, but I too have an ultra white RC F. Just got Llumar ppf installed, it has a 5 yr warranty on discoloration. I don't know how that compares with OEM ppf.

Yellowing used to happen from the older versions of the clear bra. Its the glue that's yellowing not the film. Looks like they're using an older version of the product.

If it was a brand new dealer installed option.. You may want to have them correct it for you..

I don't know the details of your purchase, but you should be able to have it fixed at no extra cost to you..
Depending on who did the work and what kind of warranty it has..

I bought the car with it installed by factory. Its on window sticker as option so I would assume they will have to make it right.

Is there any reason why you traded 15 vette? Whenever I see new stingray, it's stunning car.

Basically just to small and cheaply built which causes rattles and I cannot tolerate rattles. Car looked great and had all the technology that one would want just not the car for me. However, way better than previous vettes and the car has come a long ways since the C6.
