Currently looking at used prices and I'm not finding anything below $68k. Why pay that much when invoice on a new one is less than that?

I'm guessing the supply is just not there yet and dealerships are asking alot more.

Think Porsche build and that is how the RCF is being sold. I paid $86,000+ for the carbon with TVD and just about every option with tax.

I conjecture your looking at a $72,000 build.

There's one used with 870 miles in my area for $67k. Quite a savings for practically new one.

IMO purchasing an RCF used at this time doesn't make sense. You should be able to grab a new $72k msrp for less than $67k, I did.

Most dealers are only able to grab a limited quantity. They are not being discounted at most Lexus dealers. These cars are selling at MSRP for the most part.

I'm in South FL. and visited 4 dealerships while shopping around, all of which had at least 8 cars on the lot, one dealership had over a dozen. That's at least 40 cars within 30-40 miles of each other. Purchasing this kind of car takes patience and lots of negotiating. It could be a difference of hundreds of dollars a month. If anyone pays sticker they just haven't done their homework. I've also helped a couple guys on the forums get their deals and all drove off well below MSRP.

There are internet sales nowadays, not sure why anyone would need to restrict themselves to local dealerships, especially for a new car. It's embarrassingly easy to broaden your search and dealers are happy to make the delivery. If you are still paying MSRP then that's a shame.

No embarrassment here. I got the difference on the ISF trade. Rest assured that you will not get it both ways.

Most exaggerate the impact on payments. On a 60 month, a couple of thousand makes a nominal dent in car payments. Every $2,000 amounts to a variance of approximately $40 per month or $500 US per year at a 3% interest rate.

This must of have been the Basic without any of the Extra Packages, TVD, Carbon Fiber or CF Trim, or Premium Pkg., etc...! If Not, that was a Pretty Good Deal!

The $72k models, and I have seen several of them, are torsen, Lexus audio, etc. There is NO way you are purchasing a TVD at this price. The cheapest TVD that I have seen in the suburbs of PA is around $79,000, and that did not have several options, which would have boosted the price to $82,000 (all prices without taxes).

I'd wait a year or two.

It will be like the IS-F...you'll be able to pick them up for around 45-50k with 15-20k miles.
