Default RC F - Daily Driver for Four Seasons?

I like the RC, but LOVE the F and considering both at this time. But my heart is set on the F not so much for the performance since this would be my daily driver, but for the beefier massive front end/bulging hood as well as that engine note .

But, is it a good daily driver? Anyone use it in the winter or perhaps you had a past IS F (or similar high-performance car) with winter experience?

I have talked to many high horsepower RWD car owners here in Calgary, AB. They all say, slap some good quality winter tires (like Blizzaks or Nokians) the car and get narrow winter alloy wheels so that it can cut through snow and you should be fine in snow driving.

I am also planning on getting a used '12 - '13 used Lexus IS-F later this year as a second car. I need the V8, four door and a sporty automatic so that my wife can drive as well (love the lock-up feature of torque converter giving crisp shift feel) since RC-F is not going to have a sedan counterpart and GS-F is too big and possibly much more expensive so a used IS-F is my only option (not going to go for E90 M3 because I want to keep it for a long time).

I am planning on driving the IS-F all the year round including my wife.

^^^ Good to know there are some crazy folks like me that would drive the RC F in the winter. I want to avoid a third (beater) car...

Based on the reviews, it appears to be a comfortable livable daily driver.

How are current RC F owners finding the daily drive? Is it punishing or livable?

Completely livable. Driven in snow, in rain and took on a trip. Far rom punishing.

That's great to hear. Which car(s) have you come from prior?
