I don't get it. The C63 used to weigh over 4000 lbs way back in 2007 and no one used to even mention it. As a matter of fact, the C63's oversteering lunacy was criticized in favor of M3's fine neutrality and scalpel precision.

Suddenly, now Lexus made a 4000 lbs performance car that is quite well balanced and neutral, suddenly it is a terrible thing.

The TVD in this clip (in the review thread) nicely runs through the motions. Werner obviously knows how to work the tranny, drive modes, and the power plant.

Let's hope Clark gives it a go on and off the track.

"fat and useless.. REALLY fat" ouch.

drag race wth M4 didnt end well. he actually cut the RCF review short and reviewed the LFA for the last half of the segment. he literally said that it was 'its rubbish. so bad that im not even going to bother having the Stig taking it around. it would be an absolute waste of time"

if he's looking for an LFA-lite...i dont think thats really fair. and it seems that was exactly what he was expecting...

He is still quite obsessed with the LFA and keeps a picture of it in his wallet (or so he claims), which is great for marketing for Lexus, but it has led to unrealistic expectations of Lexus.

The RC-F is less than 1/4th the cost of an LFA and far less was spent on R&D of the car where money was no object.

I am not sure why he would expect a watered down LFA. RC-F is its own thing with its own merits. It is great for what it is supposed to be. A GT car that is more than happy to be on the track. It has its own advantages as a 2 + 2 car. I was hoping he would admire and focus on that masterpiece sonorous V8 and great handling and balance (again, he never complained about the weight on the less powerful 450 HP C63 in 2007, but now it is a problem for the RC-F).

What's a TVD? Oh the untested 80 pound paperweight lol.

I love the car for what it is and will have mine the 1st week of April, but come on, are you going to say the RCF is going to be better then the GT3 or NSX as well? We need to view this car for what it is, a Lexus that is a little sportier but not a world beater, something that is fun but not good or great on the track, how the hell can it be @ 4000 pounds, my NSX @ 2800 was a great track car, my RX7 TT @ 2800 was a great track car, this will NOT be, it will eat up tires being so fat.

It will be great in traffic going to work though I think

Umm, that was 8 YEARS AGO. Why are you comparing the RCF to the last generation C63 when the new C63 was just introduced? Why not compare apples to apples?
