24 M.

$150 a month for my BMW. Part of our overall umbrella.

Some of you folks are scarily UNDERINSURED.

Working in Medicine, while studying law, can tell y'all $10,000 medical coverage is the ambulance ride + first night in the ER.

What is the saddest though, is while everyone might think they are superman and can drive so perfectly that they will never need their insurance - same folks are usually reporting the same $10,000 uninsured motorist coverage. Scary to see people put such little value on their lives.

A lot of you guys live in LA, which has the crown for most drivers w/ no insurance. .

Please don't drive a 70K car if you can't provide the same or more in insurance. Priorities n' all.

I'm with progressive / maximum coverages in Miami Florida. I'm about $740 every 6 months with the RCF and an old 94 Chevy s10 beater I use to go fishing and haul my dog around. I pay it in full every 6 months so there is obviously a discount there. If anyone needs a quote from my guy pm me.

Has anyone quoted an RCF coming from a 2011 or newer ISF? I came from a 2008 ISF and when i got the RCF my rates went up obviously.

But now Im getting rid of the RCF and got quoted for a 2011 ISF and the rate went up even more than my RCF! To make sure i wasnt crazy, i asked Geico to quote a 2008 ISF in replacing my RCF and it went back down to my rates before when i had an 08 ISF and i saw an overall decrease in my premium.

Geico tells me 2011 ISF are in different rate classes than 2008 ISF and different from 2015 RCF because they cost more to repair... Anyone buy that? How can a 2011 ISF be more to insure than a 2015 RCF which costs more?

You may want to come in and sit down with them, so you can see what the details are listed on their system.

They should go over every bit of detail regarding your insurance policy, coverage, deductibles etc.

My guess would be, the vehicle is no longer in production and is considered legacy, those parts may prove to be very difficult to replace if restoration is required.

Oddly enough, my rates going from a 2009 ISF to a 2015 RCF went down 3%.

I'm 27/M, and am paying $773 every 6 months with Geico. Which equates to about $128/month, and I live in Miami. Oddly enough, I was quoted a cheaper premium on my '15 RCF than on my '13 GS350 F-Sport which I found odd but definitely did not complain about! lol

This is what I mean. They said if I was originally driving a 2011 ISF and moved to a 2015 RCF, it would have went down a good bit (larger than 3% quoted for a 2009 in your case) But I'm doing the opposite, which drives my rates up??

To add the vehicle to the policy was an additional $125/m with $250 comprehensive/collision and max coverage. Liability coverage is $1,000,000. But, we now also have five vehicles on the policy and we have had the same insurance company for 30 years. No tickets or accidents.

It totally defeats the purpose to have high hp car with the drive safe plugin haha

Drive it like a Prius. Lol! But then again Prius drivers are crazy speeding with other cars thinking theyre saving gas. But it's mostly gas motor running at higher speeds.

That's a stellar deal to me, considering your age and the sports vehicle.
