No argument there...

In January Lexus projected 1,200 RC 350 & 200 RC F units per month (I'm guessing just USA)

That means 1 out of every 7 RC sales is projected to be an F

These stats compared to the 7 gross (global) selling years of the IS F, are aimed higher..

Only time will tell..

I was at that cars and coffee event. I was able to sit inside and rev the engine. Here's some footage:

We shall see.. It will most likely have a $5K - $7K+ premium price tag over the Sedan...

. Par for the course when it come to informing the PR guy. He is no doubt fishing for information. We ALL need to see a final spec for the new beast.

Considering there is no Lexus engine that even has close to 500hp, I very much doubt we will ever see 600hp in the next decade.

RC-F is a unique car because it is NA and has a V8 - this makes it ancient in the current field of competitors in terms of power #s.
M4(I6 TT) is fast and in reality makes more than 425hp,
MB C63AMG(V8TT) will smoke all the cars in this segment including the M4 when it comes next year.
Caddy ATS-V(V6TT) will probably also be faster.

I personally LOVE the RC-F!.
There will always be a faster car 0-60 or 0-100, and these cars are 4,000lbs so they will not be winning any track events.
If u want a Sporty, Luxurious, Reliable, Great Looking Coupe for less than $100k that can be used as a daily driver - RCF will be a good choice.

If u want a TRUE SPORTS car - save ur $$$ for a 911 or get a Cayman.
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised

What would help seperate and put this vehicle ahead of their price point to value, Lexus should have included a flat bottom-Alcantara steering wheel to match the armrest and a double stitched Alcantara contoured dash.
It's the little things that count

Those of you that saw the car in person, was the window trim black pearl like the grille surround?

I plan on vinyl wrapping both the window and grille surrounds in black or carbon. I don't like the black pearl surround or bright chrome trim.

Nevermind, I saw in another picture thread that the window surround is chrome and the grille surround is black pearl.

IDK man... she looks a little thicker and chunkier here than in previous pictures. Doesn't look good at all. The castor seems to give it a weird look in the front wheel wells, but maybe it's just the picture. I'd have to see it in person though. It looks completely different in commercials and other pics we've seen. Maybe it's just the color that makes it look bad here. Everywhere else, I thought it looked stunning.
