This exactly. I pulled my deposit for RCF, it just didn't deliver.
I'm pretty pumped about GT350, C63, and to lesser extent ATSV and RS5.
the ATS-V is gonna be such a monster. i showed my wife a pic of the coupe and her response was 'THAT is the car i want!!!' 455 hp...3700 lbs...aggressive styling. it could really own this class.

This is really where beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I find the Cadillac to be square, boxy, and in every way visually unappealing. Having worked at both Toyota and Cadillac dealerships, I can also say that the Cadillac is in every way a GM product that lacks quality.
I cannot understand how the ATS-V is even considered a contender for anything other than a Camaro.

my brother has a CTS-V wagon...and while not as fail-safe as a Lexus...it definitely has 'quality'. even more than that...it provides a driving experience.
as far as visually unappealing...cadillac has a very distinctive and aggressive. the angles, that dont look like every other car, really set them apart. they are bold, in your face and impressive. and beauty is obviously in the eye of the beholder when the Lexus spindle is so polarizing.
if you dont think the ATS is a worthy competitor...just like the CTS was/is...then youre still associating Cadillac with pimps and hoes.

At the past LA Auto show, had a chance to see a cross section of the V-6 Twin turbos that will produce all that HP. Simply amazing, GM really pulled out all the stops in regards to the build quality within that motor.

For me .....the RC-F/350, has similar hood/roof and trunk lid lines as Infinti G37. The ATS-V and CTS-V and the Nissan GT-R with the sharp lines is more on par with the F-117 stealth fighter.
