The RCF doesn't have the GT-R tires. I recall a best motoring video where they replaced the OEM GT-R tires with RE-11s and were actually slower........

The z28 also uses barely street legal R-Compound tires.

I never said RC-F would put lap times anywhere close to the level of Camaro Z-28.

The whole point was, a car can be 3900 lbs (even when the Camaro is stripped out, it still weighs 3900 lbs) and still have one of the best handling, dynamically driver oriented car.

It is all about chassis, suspension and steering tuning.

p.s. Motor Trend was running stock tires on all three cars.
