RCF stands out and stands out hard, something a 75k car should. When they started putting the M Sport package on the E92 3, the front bumper almost looks like a E92 M3 and Ive thought Ive seen a M3 many times but it wasnt. Not something I want after spending this kinda cash. RCF will turn heads, because theres nothing out there like it.
How the M3 and M4 don't stand out, is the same issue the 2IS and IS-F faced. It just did not look significantly different enough.

Question have u seem what the RC350 Fsport will look like?
Im pretty sure the RCF will not be that much different.
Same as M4 compared to 435i Msport.

Not sure about ur point.

I do feel the RCF looks much better than M4.
But that is subjective.

Whats not subjective is the marketing power of the //M brand.

Just compare the forum activity here to the M4 forums.
Lexus has to build the F brand for enthusiasts to aspire to it and the general public will buy the cars just for the F badge!

The RC350 is a car that stands out in itself- the F sport version will be even more agressive looking.

So ppl that are not in the know can and will mix up the Fsport version with the real F.... Just like 435i Msport doesnt look different to general public.
If i showed it to my wife - she would be hard pressed to tell a diff between M4 and Msport version.

For the general public, they'll only tell the diff from the quad exhausts

CLA starts under $30k, until you find out its stripped down. Typical german nickel and diming. 335 M Sport optioned the same to my 3IS is $8k more. A 328 optioned the same still costs more.
We could go on and on. Back and forth. M3/M4 comes now with a lot of good Features as standard. Not everyone need to get carbon brakes, side or top view cameras, heated steering wheel, head up display, comfort access, extended leather on the dash......

The bottom line is that you have an option and can but the car for $62k and no need to pay extra $20k for unnessery stuff

Hows it stripped down car?

64k + 550paint + 900 leather + 1300 wheels = 67k as Grand Total

HIDs are standard/ LEDs are 1900

If u dont go crazy - u can easily be under 70k

I built a C7 vette - u can go crazy and be at close to 80k
Go build a 911 - u can go nuts with options

jag is great looking vehicle, inside and out... but pricing wise, it is way above... 67k is base with 340hp. 380hp version is 77k and 550hp is 99k + options. It is $120k completely loaded.

kind of yes, but there is larger difference between RC-F and RC compared to 4 and M4... it is because of the V8, front end is raised to infamous Lexus beak (thats what i call it anyway), while standard RC has it slick.

In general, with its V8 and its different exterior, there is quite large difference between IS and RC, as well as RC and RC-F, compared to 3, 4 and M4.

People need to applaud BMW for doing more CF, but at the same time they really did not try very hard with exterior or interior design. Or the engine. There is a lot smaller difference there.

Lexus tried harder and spent more money to differentiate IS and RC, as well as RC-F.

Great point. An $80,000 M4 still looks so similar to a 4 banger 328i.

An RC-F looks nothing like an IS250.

RC-F needs to base around 60-65k and max out at 75-80k.
I say $59k(base) to be competitive, Im not sure how you can figure +$15k for accessories/options on an RC....mayb $10k max.

IS-F is 64k base 70k loaded... Lexus does not play the "base" game with IS-F.

I'm afraid who's pricing the new IS F is here watching you ;-)

$70K ish range is the ideal price in my opinion. If it less then better :-)
