Like I said before, those flimsy cheap black plastic inserts in the side gilles (BMW used to use proper chrome there in the E9X).

Then, on the front (no picture here) there are these thin plastic fins (or wings) sticking out at the front air dam and they look horribly cheap.

RC-F looks way more higher quality on the exterior.

There is another thread where these pictures were posted. This is how it looks like in real life.

$64,200 Base
2,900 DCT
2,000 19 Inch wheels
700 Cold Weather package
2,200 Premium Package
1,900 Lighting package
975 handling

$ 74,875 TOTAL

This is how my package would look like. The RC-F with comparable options and amenities would be in the 80s? 85K? Choice is obvious..common Lexus!

You posted low quality pics of the M4 which is obviously a test mule as shown by the different wheels in the back and front. Not fair. I will reserve my opinion on the quality when I see both the RC-F and M4 in person.

I am talking about body panels. It is using the same materials that production car is using. It has nothing to do with the wheels.

and I was not talking about the wheels either. Shall I post high quality pics of the M4 to counter your ugly pics? I say exercise in futility. Now back to the price discussion as this is a price thread..

What does high resolution picture have to do with cheap plastic? Cheap plastic is cheap plastic and I can easily see that regardless of resolution. Pictures were merely to show the flimsy wings sticking out at the front. The flimsy wings at the front are made of thin plastic and so are the black color plastic inserts inside the side gills.

I can also post pics of the predator grill of the RC-F but this is a pricing thread. You are a Lexus fanboy. I am too as I own an IS-F but the difference is I call a spade a spade. This is a pricing thread so lets go back to topic.

I am not a Lexus fanboy. I am calling like it is. Actually, I am not a big fan of the IS-F (which goes against your Lexus fanboy accusation) and would prefer an E92 M3 over an IS-F. However, RC-F is a different case. It seems to have reversed big time versus the M4. I see most of the people criticizing the RC-F, happen to be IS-F owners (coincidence?).

There is no need to be insulting my opinions because I feel the M4 has cheap plastic galore everywhere.

I'm sorry i see ZERO cheap plastics on the M4.......Fit/finish look excellent.

I agree that RC-F looks much better and more aggressive.
Many others prefer the understated look of the M4 though.

To be fair, this can only be properly compared in person, with both cars side by side.

Otherwise, there will be no convincing of fanboys on either side of the divide.

Even though, IMO, from the photos alone, the RC-F just looks so much more special than that jumped up 2 door 328i on steroids

Agreed. I mistook the black M4 picture as a picture of a 328i with bigger wheels until I read the text and understood it was an M4.

You can drive away in an M4 for $60K...this is not the case with an ISF nor will it be the case for the RCF.

The M4 will be mass produced and have much less exclusivity than either of the Fs. It's not for me, nor is BMW service--whether they pay for it all or not.
