Default Official RC-F Price Thread (Merged Threads)

Thought u guys and girls might like to see who can get closest to sticker price of a fully optioned RC-F before it gets announced and maybe even make a wager out of it where if we get enough people then we all throw $5 to the winner in his/her Paypal account. Not sure when price is gonna be revealed so don't know how long we have. Price is for car only and no dealer fee add ons. My price for the wager is $81,645

M3/4 prices were released and they are very reasonable:

M3 = 62,000
M4= 64,000

RC-F needs to base around 60-65k and max out at 75-80k.

youre going to get nickel and dimed to death on a typical german car. No one will drive one off the lot at 62k, expect high 70s and maybe even low 80s for any decent options. Watch them still charge you for leather and HID on a 60k car. A 335 loaded to the same options as my 3IS was $56k.

for RCF Im going to guess its starting at low 70s. ISF was about 67k loaded with Navi/ML

Many ppl order a stripped car - just go check Bimmer forums. Thats the great thing u can custom order the car u want and no need to overpay for one sitting at the dealer.

M3 will have standard lots of stuff plus it comes with CF roof and HIDs.

After that u can go crazy with all the $$$ options.

IS-F was around 68k when it came out, They are making the GS-F, which to compete with M5's and such has got to be close to 90k if not higher, I am going with $78,429 for RC-F

Actually a current MY14 ISF with Nav & ML has an MSRP of $68,500..
Additional options will put you at $70,100.

A rare Base IS F is $64,510

I'm going with an additional $10K premium for the new design and its a coupe.

So I will put my figure at $78,500 for RC F with Nav & ML Pkg.

Additional "cha ching" for the optional Carbon Fiber Pkg

Wow that would be wayyyy out of my price range.

Any idea why it would priced so much higher than M4??
Also, is the CF roof standard or part of the expensive CF pack?

Thanks

I'm just guesstimating..

But I'm pretty confident it won't or can't be priced like the exiting IS F..

Global Sales of Lexus IS F from 2008 to current date is still under 11,400 units..

For those of you who enjoy tracking this kind of stuff..

Carbon Fiber anything will be "Optional"..
Rumors for USA Market only include CF Roof & Wing as options.

It appears unlike with IS-F basically coming with all options except Mark Levinson/Nav that Lexus will be making this RC-F with several options like carbon package and a choice of 3 different wheels. I'm guessing the wheel choices will be different prices. $80k is way out of my range but it will be cool to see all the trim levels.

I have a pic of an '08 Sticker of an ISF, it was $62K at that time and nows its like $67K. M3's always commanded at-least $70K with middle optioned, but a Decked out M3 Always around low $80's. RCF Should at-least $75-77K or $10K lower than a decked out M3/M4.

Orange with carbon package would be very subtle and low key. Nobody would ever notice that car at all
