If you're not into burning money I mean leasing, there's also a $3k rebate via Lexus Financial Services for financing through them. 2.9% for excellent credit.

Default My deal from Lexus in NJ

I was just offered $63k for the 2015 RCF Mica Blue with 19" 10 spoke wheels, leather trim interior, moon roof, navigation/Mark Levinson Package, premium pak, trunk mat, cargo, net wheel locks rear bumper app. MSRP was $74, 249. They were willing to go down to $63k. What are your thoughts on this? No sure if it included the 3k back.

Thanks
Extreme.

Is this including the $3k rebate for leasing/financing through LFS?

If it doesn't, then that's an extra $3k off!

lol how is leasing "burning cash"? Leasing a sports car like this is the safest route imo...if you don't plan on keeping it more than a few years. Lock in a set depreciation by leasing - if the market for the car does well, then you could easily have equity in the car when the lease is over and you can but it, but if the market does bad then you walk away and aren't into the car over your head. You also don't have to put ~$20k down (then lose 50% of that as soon as you drive it off the lot), which enables you to keep that money in other investments and it justifies paying the 0.0008 money factor (1.9% equivalent).

I was offered 8.5% msrp plus an additional 3000 cash back if I finance or lease through Lexus. Does that seem like a good deal on a 2015 model or should I ask for more off?

The only way I negoitated car deals is window sticker A -> then my price B

Ask what the nice whole round number is off the MSRP.
Then add in whatever other incentives may be applicable to your lease or finance deal.

They need to make room for the 2016 RC F's inbound..!!!

I suppose it matters exactly what lease deal you're getting, too. Here in Hawaii we have only one Lexus dealer. Their "special" was $10,000 due at signing, $899/month for 36 months with a 8k/year cap. If you add in the assumed 2k/miles a year extra charges, we couldn't justify burning $45k as that's far over the limit of depreciation. It made more sense to buy the car for $4k less on the mainland and have it shipped.

Sounds too Good to be True, but like JoeZ said NOW is the time to get one cause you can get some Great Deals out there. WHO is the Dealership that gave you this offer?

yeah, see, that's a terrible deal. I negotiated $9,100 off MSRP and an additional $3,000 lease cash. 10,000 miles a year for 3 years. Was going to be $706/month with only $500 down, but I added tire and wheel protection package. So that upped it to $754/month.

If you don't plan on owning this care for 6+ years then leasing is definitely the safest/smartest decision IMO.

I got an offer for 64K including 3k from using finance through Lexus.
So, the car will sell as 67K, the 3K credit goes to the down payment directly.
btw, car is grey on black.

doesn't sound like a good deal?
and they said they sold out all the cars with red leather which is the one I wanted.

Thanks
Stevne

The MSRP is 74K.

Based on what he said, I think I will need to pay the tax based on 67K.

IMO, you can do better. Aim for 65k negotiated price and the additional 3k lease cash on top.
