Who knows what the future will bring. A lot of RCFs have recently been delivered so inventory is bit high now. Perhaps the prices will rise as they sell off current inventory. Perhaps prices will drop if they cannot see off current inventory and are stuck with a bunch of cars at the end of the year. Perhaps a war will break out causing demand to dwindle or perhaps an astroid will smash into the earth to bits. Dude, buy the car if you like it and want it. Is waiting 6 months to potentially save another $ 500 or a $ 1,000 really worth it on a $ 73,000 car?

Sometimes true, sometimes not. Depends on whether dealer has met goal for month. Lol, by then the car you want could be gone.

I'm not having trouble finding the $78-9K RCFs at invoice here in Socal. What I am having a hard time finding are ones with radar cruise which is a must for me.

My sense is the RCFs are not selling well.

My best advice to you is to pick one of these up preowned after a year or two. If its anything like the GT-R, which I believe it is, its going to take a massive depreciation hit in the first year or two. You can get a great deal on one next year or the year after. Or you can ****** up the one on the used RCF thread.

I ordered what I wanted, I have never in my life said I am going to wait 1-3 years for a car just for 10-20k off. Now something like a 458 to get 100k off maybe but that would not be a DD either.

Most expensive cars have pretty quick depreciation.

My experience with Lexus and Toyota vehicles is that they lose their value quickly over the first two years, but then after that don't lose much more and settle out.

Story of pretty much every M, AMG, and Porsche out therew/AMG being the worst of the lot.

Even w/ Lexus cars holding value better, the actual money delta is pretty laughable for those spending $50K+ on luxury vehicles. Why? They make too many of them and the newest is 9 out of 10 times more desirable than the outgoing model.

End of day, buy what you want when you want per budget. Yolo, right?

Much like the ISF, I see this car dropping around $20-$30k in the first 20k miles then leveling off for the next 80k miles dropping another $10k.

For me, the sweet spot is in the $40-$50K range. Today there are a few listed for less than $64,000 with less than 5k miles.

I figure I'll let the rich guys buy up these things first then pay cash in two years for a gently used one like I did with my current car.

At $45K, a gently used ISF is now an overpriced dinosaur BUT if that same car came down in the $30k range? I might be a buyer.

This is so absurd! You think this will drop to 20-30k? I really even had reservations replying to this because it was asinine. Two years; 20-30k? Substantiate your ridiculous claims!

Well you are speaking in terms of 7 years which is neither here or there but you are selectively picking the outlier of the ISF spectrum arent you?

Drop BY 20-$30k TO $40-50k. Plenty of ISF examples as a benchmark.

Although, at the time the ISF was a unique beast. Now there's an ISF, RCF and upcoming GSF with same power, weight, but an extra door.
