I'm just really hoping the weight doesn't come in at the 3,970 lb figure I saw floating around. If this is indeed true, that will be very disappointing.

I otherwise like the car.

Some good news, looks like the RCF will put out 480 HP (up from previous estimates of 460). That's a substantial bump compared to the M4.

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...#ixzz2ppl6A1Hl

"The ideal Atkinson cycle captures and compresses an amount of air that, when combusted and expanded throughout the entire power cycle, results in a cylinder pressure that's near atmospheric at the bottom of the piston's stroke, meaning the engine has wrung every bit of energy out of the fuel. Drop the hammer, and those valves shut in time to give you the full 12.3:1 compression (up from 11.8:1) and 5.0 liters of furious power -- 480 horses' worth (up substantially from the IS F's 416). A newly modified version of the current D4S direct-injection with secondary port injection helps make all this work. Torque ratings and further specifications are pending.

Would've been nice if it was 500 HP (for bragging rights) but 480 is extremely competitive in this segment. Even if the RCF is a bit heavier than previously anticipated, it might still shine from a power to weight ratio standpoint.

Sounds like better gas mileage as well, I hope the engine upgrades would be easy to swap over to the IS F... I would love to have the added hp/tq!

I am not a fan of how it looks. The front of the car is by far the worst part of it. It has terrible lines and the headlights and grille are just ugly. I do like the interior except for the hideous steering wheel, but that is an easy enough change.

Wow. I love it. I will give it a few years of production, then may have to pick one up.

Looks cool... But no 4 door no care. To many coups that make this car irrelevant IMO. I do like the seats though...

Looks...different. I'm not sure I like it...maybe seeing it in person...

Figured the valvetrain/heads would be different after seeing the new redline. Probably more compression.

car looks like someone squeezed it and the lights, bumpers, fenders, are all exploding out of it.

Our current gen F's are much more aesthetically pleasing IMO.
THIS.

I hope it looks better in real life.
