Default Bye RC

Today was bittersweet!

I said goodbye to my RC after only 8 months of having it The opportunity came up for me to trade her in for one of my longtime dream cars, so I jumped on it.
This thread and members have been great and I'll continue to lurk.

Time to go find the Lotus Forums
Pic of the new next to the old (pic was taken before they detailed it)

Thanks!
It's got the sport that I was missing from the RC. Really fun car! There were some tradeoffs with this, it has a more stripped down, harder ride, a little less tech, but worth it for me. love the sportiness

FYI Lotus Evora has 0 cupholders lol

Congrats! I was actually watching a video on the Evora. It's definitely one of those niche cars that owners truly love but the masses don't know the greatness of them.

Congrats on the purchase! How do you like the Evora? Did you go with the IPS or manual? I have been looking into them (slightly) for a possible next car. BTW, Lotustalk is the forum you'll probably want to jump on.

Thanks everyone! still been lurking around and following a few of my fav threads here. looks like the dealership sold my RC less than 24 hrs after they acquired it, so I hope that i might see it out there. I think they left all my vinyl work and blacked out emblems on it so I should be able to spot it easily.

Hoping to make it out to the next C&C!

I went with the IPS moostly because that was the only option, but I did read, in the earlier models at least, the clutch in manuals can cause problems sometimes. So even with the choice, I'd have chosen the same I think. And already on LotusTalk :] good forum although it took like 5 days before they'd unlock my new account.

Dunno what to say, either congrats or good luck. For a car with so many features missing, I guess everyone just rolls differently. For the price, RCF has way more value, but that's just me.

Yep to each their own I suppose.. the tradeoff for me was more than worth it and I have no regrets at all. I never really cared for some of the styling and finishes in the RC and had I decided to upgrade to the RCF, I would have still felt that. All things that were minor, but I still felt them..

I think Lexus and the RC are great, and I'm not bashing in any way at all. I just get so much more joy driving and even looking at this one than I ever did with the RC.

The only thing I truly miss are having cupholders lol.
