Default coil over/ spring labor

What would be the decent labor price on installing either coil over or spring? shop charging me $800 for all 4 =( ....

if anyone from chicago, any shop you can recommend installing coil or spring?

Too me that seems pretty high or it may be some high end shop. Most places, even at 90/hr, charge around 400-500 to do this type of job. Also keep in mind you need to get an alignment soon afterwards which will run another 100. If you are lucky like me, you may have friends who are mechanics that could do it for you for some dinner drinks. I would never spend 800 tho...just my two cents. good luck!

yup i know its pretty high..i hate paying that much..i know normally $500 is pretty decent but $800 is pretty high..thanks for your input..i guess ill have to find other shops...thanks

800 is too high. My install was $550 and I got an alignment for $50. This was Coilover install.
