Default RC feeling dated

In the market for an RC to replace my CT.
Big discounts in Australia on new models and 9 month old demonstrators can be had for 30% off list price. Discounts particularly heavy for the RC-F.
Frustratingly, however, the tech is so dated compared to my 200 t NX.
No 360 degree camera, no HUD, no electronic park brake with hold feature. Still has small sat nav screen.
Any idea when the update is due.
I'd hate to go German. I'm used to Lexus service and reliability and love all the RC engines.

It's going to be a few years unfortunately.

A facelift is due probably in 2018MY or 2019MY, which will probably include the larger 10" screen like in the IS and maybe HUD. Not sure if they would add electronic parking brake or brake hold feature or panoramic view though; they will probably be added in the complete redesign several years from now.

Why wait, those changes you are waiting for are minor and will not add much to the enjoyment of the driving experience,
I got a great deal on my Brand new RC350 F sport, well below the RRP, when it comes time to upgrade in a few years time at least the depreciation wont hurt so much....

Don't consider the changes minor.
HUD has saved my licence on lots of occassions. Australian speed limits enforcement is draconian.
360 camera has saved me a pile of cash from kerbed rims and dented panels.
And a pedal operated foot brake vs electronic brake. Come on, its 2017 not 2007.
Old tech might explain why US sales numbers for the RC are down almost 40 % between 2015/2016.

Are you serious..........
If you only rely on HUD and 360 camera then you need to re assess your driving skills and manner, What were you doing before all this technology?
I'm not a fan of the pedal operated footbrake but that didn't put me off buying the RC............

Me too, I actually went from all that to the RC. You are sitting pretty low in the RC already, the speedo feels like a HUD for me anyways. And the pedals are actually one of the best distance for me to do all left foot braking. This is the longest Lexus I've kept!

And we should expect lots of upgrades like the IS to the RC if not more. ***crossing my fingers!**

If he needs all that, he probably needs a 7-series...
