car looks awesome and I really like that spoiler on it. you probably don't care what I have to say, but the plastidip on your tails look like ***** and makes it look cheap. plastidip just isn't the right thing for smoking the tails. my suggestion would be getting it actually painted, which really isn't that expensive, or wrapping them. I had the tails on my old car painted and they came out factory-like. just my 2 cents your rc otherwise looks dope!

Thanks! I agree the plastidip on the tails doesn't look great. I might try to add some more gloss to see if it helps, if not, it's coming off. It was kind of an experiment since I've never used it before. I do however like how it is on the badges though.

No problem! I agree, the badges look good especially with the color of your car and the plastidip (I personally like a clean, de-badged trunk). I'm sure your tails would look nice smoked, so if the plastidip doesn't work out I'd highly suggest trying to wrap them yourself with some 3M gloss smoke. Good luck!!

I got some dark film when I bought the yellow for the fogs, might try that, but I don't want them super dark. It seems like it would be a PITA with the shape of the tail though.

Took off the Plastidip from my tails and attempted to wrap them. I was afraid the shape would make it a pain and I was correct!
My first time wrapping with vinyl and I haven't tinted a window in over 20 years. Kind of came out like crap but I now know the limitations/quirks of the material. Going to order some more and practice with the rest of what I have. Looks way better than the dip Attachment 393768
