Default Sharpie'd floor mats

After using the all weather mats for over a year, I decided to pull the carpet mats out. I thought the white clashed with interior and the stitching around the mat. So I took a red sharpie to color stitching. It looks a million times better. It's actually a bit darker than what photo shows. Took 10 mins for 2 "coats".

Looks nice! Hopefully the Sharpie will hold up to the rain, etc., but I don't see why not as you're basically just dyeing the thread, I wonder if a couple of coats of Scotch Guard would help the longevity of the logo?

Thanks. Scotchguard is a great idea. I got the idea from a corvette forum where people were doing it to their stitching on seats and dash and they said it worked great and didn't fade. I still think I prefer the all weather mats though. Seems more sporty to me.

That's a neat idea, and might look good in my red RC. (But you can't go back, can you.) I'll have to think about this - maybe try it on the driver's side first.

Looks good. I put in the carpeted floor mats and its a pain in the butt keeping them clean. Im going back to the winter ones all year round.
