Sure, no problem. I noticed the huge difference when I left it in full auto one day and thought why is the car running at 2500 rpm doing 70. Then I remembered it is only using 6 of the available 8 gears in Sport+ in Full Auto.

Does it drive any different in manual being in a different mode?
You're controlling the gears in manual mode why would it make a difference if it was in sport or sport+
In Normal mode it will use all 8 gears, and you can shift manually, but it then goes back to "D" after a little bit if in full Auto Mode "D". Using Full manual mode in Normal allows you to control when it shifts just like in Full Manual Mode in Sport or Sport+.

Yes it drives different in manual mode as you control when it shifts to a point. The car has a built in non-self destruct mode so if you forget to shift it will automatically shift up to not destroy the engine or transmission.

In Sport or Sport+ the shifts are closer together, and more so when in Sport+. In Normal mode the manual shifts are not as fast.

Try it for yourself and you will be surprised at the difference in Sport+ and Full manual mode. I only use Full Auto when in bad traffic so I don't have to keep shifting up or down all the time.

Thank you for that clarification brother. It's not the first time you've clarified things up for me.

I also read somewhere in this forum that you bounce the rev off the red line and it wouldnt shift if you have the trac control off. Is that true?

Good to know. Thanks for the explanation

It's certainly my only real issue with the car, but it's no big deal as that's not why I bought the car. I have an AWD 350 F sport and I get 18.1-18.5 with a mix of mostly normal auto and some manual sport +

Went on a 400 mile trip this weekend where most the roads were 55 mph. Was surprised to get 29.0 mpg. Much improved over my first trip when I got 24 mpg. I have the AWD 6 speed.

I get less than 170 miles on a full tank when I'm using the manual paddles. While in automatic in either normal or eco mode, it feels like MPG doubles.

I can only imagine that figure lol normal mode? A/C off? 24 is really the limit here. With A/C on, MPG drops to 22
