Thank you very much.
I may be the only one that does not like the F Sport Grill, the wheels and the black interior lining. That's just me. I think the regular grill is more "Lexus Like".

Here's another note to "da" -
I did not like the F Sport grille, the pedals, and the interior changes from the RC350. There are several versions of the RC in the showrooms because there are different people seeking different things in their cars. Having paid something in the vicinity of 60 large for a swell new red car gussied up just the way I wanted it, I certainly don't feel like I'm driving around in any kind of a second class model.

Well, I may have to wait even longer now that Lexus has shut down the plant and the production due to the earthquake.

Well, it has been over two and a half months and still no news on my car? My patience is running thin now. The dealer said that the car has not even shipped yet, otherwise he would have the VIN number for me. I would think that the dealer would have some kind of tracking mechanism on orders within their systems? He may want to surprise me, but I am the kind of person who would like to be kept informed. My senior salesman said it could be another 3-4 weeks? that would mean over 3 months of wait. Ah, where is my baby?

If I were you, I'd cancel it and wait 3 months to get a 2017.

Hum, not sure if I can wait that long. If I do that, then the wait would be 9 months. Gestation period lol!!! here is why I say 9 months.

3 months wait already.
3 months wait for 2017 to get introduced.
3 months to yet special order again.

I know the configuration I want will not be avail on dealers lot. Ray Catena is one of the big dealer in North America, they looked high and low for the car in all USA inventories and did not find it, thus, special order.

I have an identical RC350 that I had to order and got the non-F sport for the same reason. Plus it's nice to have the soft leather interior. I also had the dealer change out the 19" 10 spoke wheels, that used to be mandatory with the luxury package, to the 18" 5 spoke wheels. I'm more into comfort than performance on the track, I thought the 5 spokers more fit the character of the car too. Besides it is easier to clean 5 spokes than 10 spokes! The car is worth the wait.

I ordered mine in early Jan, got it in early May. It'll fly by. I didn't even think about it.

You guys are awesomely supportive. Thanks. I guess moral of the story is: "Good/RC comes to those who wait."

I wouldn't wait either lol. However I would like to know whats new in the 2017 model. I know the 2016 model has the G Force monitoring and different color calipers which the 2015 model didn't have.

I have a 2016 and I haven't found that G-Force monitor yet. I've scrolled thru all the settings and of course checked the manual. My wife's 2.0 turbo NX has it but I can't find the gauge on my 350. Maybe it doesn't have a physical gauge like the NX.
