Default Swapping out interior dome lights

I want to swap out all my interior lights with blue LEDs to match with my 2016 ultrasonic blue rc350.

I was able to do the most from this tutorial (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-...lacements.html) but couldn't find any info on how to remove the bulbs from the touch sensitive front dome light and the rear passengers lights.

Can anyone advise? Thanks!

My advice would be to rethink the idea of blue interior lighting.

No one has done this before? Any tips?

Also, I want to swap out the ambient lights in the door panel. Any instructions for that?

I have not done the dome lights but the door panel lights are simple. The best way to do it is to purchase the small plastic tool that comes with the bulbs and you basically work in the tool underneath the plastic cover and pop it out for every side. Just be gentle and take your time as to not break the clips.

I used a small plastic interior trim removal piece from Harbor Freight Tools, wedge the thin end of tool between the footwell light cover and slowly pop the light cover off. Once the cover is off, it is easy to swap the light bulb.

I meant the small light strip that's directly under the window.

Oh gotcha, yeah that would be a cool mod to do. I have not seen anyone do it, Im fairly sure you would have to remove the door panel to access the light.
