Default Squeaky pads

Not sure if this is a normal characteristics of our Fsport brakes, but when I am in reveres and I apply the brakes I hear a squealing sound. Is that normal? By the way my car just hit 20k miles

How loud is it? Is it while you're moving slow or when you stop fast? How do your rotors look? Any grooves in them?

Now to the important question, how does your car sound with the resonator delete you just did

It's pretty loud, and I hear it while I am going slow. I'll check my rotors when I get home. My car sounds pretty freaking amazing. 😂

I have a F sport I bought in October 2015 and the brakes squeal so badly they were replaced. Unfortunately the new set is just as bad as the old. The brakes squeal so loudly is turns heads when I stop at a red light. Lexus tells me it's normal but I refuse to believe a car at this price point should have anything that squeaks. I've had no luck getting any assistance, and my next move is to return the vehicle.

Get a new set of rotors or get them turned. If you get a new set of rotors, also get new brakes. Get them at Tirerack and get it shipped to an independent shop as that is a ton cheaper. Not rocket science changing rotors and brakes.

I notice a s*** ton of brake dust, especially on the front wheels. Every 5 to 7 days, the front wheels are just filthy and I find it pretty annoying. Anyone else contest to this? I know brake dust is normal, but I don't find it normal for the front wheels to be covered in them every 5 to 7 days...

Hmmm...is that right? I'd have to look into that and do something, because frankly it's in excess in my opinion.

Hi all, I had this inspected by my dealership at well. Their feedback was that the composition of the brakes were natively squealy.

There was an option to replace the breaks with a quiet version, however they mentioned the breaking abilities were much reduced.

Hope that helps.
