Default Any RC 350 F Sport owners with factory performance exhaustr

Can any RC 350 F Sport owners that actually have the factory performance exhaust installed on their car tell me if they like it or not ?

I think there are only two people on here that are running it. Hopefully they will see this and chime in.

Yes , I have the F-Sport exhaust and really like it. Quality is on par with Borla. Fit, welds and polishing work.
It has a stock sound until you lay your foot into it. Then your heard blocks away at full throttle.
At highway and in town speeds everything is normal. Zero drone.
If you like the best of both worlds you'll like this exhaust.

Thanks Pearlrider, I saw the picture of your car with the exhaust and it looks sharp. I was hoping for a little rumble at idle, but I don't think any of the aftermarket exhaust do either. Since it is a V6, spoiled by my days with built 1969 Camaro and Nova. Don't get me wrong I love this car and just want to make the right modifications.

Hi Pearlrider, thanks for the input! Do you find the found the sound deep (when you're WOT) and is there any of that tinny / rasp any time?

Thank you very much!

ps. There's a video floating around here of an 3IS (350) in th eback of a warehouse parking area with the F-Sport exhaust -- does it sound like that?

You do know it;s there on startup. No problems at highway speeds.

Not like 400 cubes, but a noticeable rumble to the uninitiated. I like it.
Funny thing it's louder in the cabin at 40 mph than at 70 mph. Neither objectionable.
Factory exhaust comes with a different lower valance panel (I don't have an F Sport). From the rear, the st stl. mufflers look like chrome ********* hanging out of shorts! Just showin' off.

You will get that rumble on the cold start with almost any aftermarket exhaust on this car.

Default About to order RC350 with Factory Performance Exhaust

Unfortunately, I'm not able to listen to the exhaust before placing my order. I'm looking for something close to the BMW throaty sound, not the rice burner obnoxious noise (IMO). Is it safe to say this exhaust will get me closer to the BMW sound? No offense to anyone that likes the high pitch rice burner sound, but I would be very disappointed if that's what I end up with. Plus, more importantly, the wife would not be happy.
