Default Anyone considering the 2017 Infiniti Q60s?

I realize there are many RC 350 owners on this forum, but I'll bet there are potential owners (like me) as well.

I love the styling of the RC but am not enamored with the engine options (I currently have a GS 350, so I know what the 6 cylinder Lexus engine is like).

Twin turbo charged 400 hp engine in the new Q60s coupe - can you imagine that in the RC?

400hp twin turbo would be right close to the ~465hp NA RCF. I dont think lexus would make the rc350 aa fast as the RCF, that wouldnt make sense. unless they speed up the RCF

Q60 is looking nice though. If its 0-60 is low 4s might be intersted. 2 yrs left in this lease though

Great point that 400 hp puts it too close the RC F.

I have a feeling that the 400hp Q60S will probably be close to RCF price.

The new Q60S is quite a looker, and if I was in the market for a coupe, I definitely would consider it over the RC.

Thats a ugly car if you ask me. Looks like an Accord Coupe. Infiniti and Nissan has always been trying to steal a few buyers from BMW, Lexus, MB by offering fast cars for relatively cheap prices. But they are uncomfortable and just do not posses the prestige factor IMO.

I also think the back is not attractive at all. As awesome as 400hp sound but I can't be in a car that's unattractive.

It is a nice car and likely quite expensive.

I would much prefer a move to the RCF instead.

Q60 not for me as the looks are not as aggressive as with the RC. Same with the interior's Q50 waterfall dash which is very derivative of so many other car manufacturers. I value styling and road presence before power, and to my eyes the RC beats the Q60 both in and out.

Agree with the Accord coupe styling. Nice but not exciting.

I'm actually one of those looking for that perfect sports coupe and being a Lexus owner, a RC350 is on the top of my list for now. I also own a Infiniti EX35 (wifes car) and it's a great little sport/SUV/whatever, and my experience with that car, reliability, performance, comfort, etc. I would strongly consider the Q60, assuming it's out on time. Some of the other considerations are, BMW M235 and Audi's S3/TT, (these options being a little more sport and less grand sport, and reliability concerns) or maybe a few yrs. old 2dr 3-series..Yes, I agree the Q60 is a little Honda looking, but I don't really like/love the Lexus spindle grill on anything but the RC's. Infiniti make a great V6 motor, (it won engineering awards) and with twin turbo-ing it could make a great motor even better. There's always considerations like; a little better motor (or if the guy in the Q60 can beat you), little better looks, or a few thousand less that may help.with the decision.. So for now I'm undecided..........

First thing I thought when I saw it. Looks just like an accord. Sad. Cool engine upgrade though.

It will be a big improvement over the luxury coupe segment. Q60 supposed to be wider and the new twin turbo motor has 350lb torque from 1500 to 5000rpm. Really going against the 435i

The interior and the gauges are so boring. The dated 7 speeds transmission also. It shift nothing but super slow delay. I wonder if they upgrade the shift faster. They did not mention anything so I guess it is the same. Forget it if a twin turbo 400 horse power without proper transmission then there is no joy of driving for the manual mode.
