Default Driving in the rain???

Who out there actually drives their baby in the rain? I know depending on the vehicle and situation etc.... Personally if i had a Lambo or something, it would not see the rain. But for our RCs... who does it?

I want to add a POLL to this but not sure how as of yet.
UPDATE - Poll has been added please vote!

drove my RCF 30 miles in the rain to work today.

rain isn't going to hurt the car, never understood people that don't drive their cars in the rain, yeah I can see something like a Lambo, but in general rain water isn't going to hurt the car, though their is a higher risk of a dumba$$ driver smacking you.

FWIW I tried the SNOW mode in rain today and found that the car handled better in the rain with it on, seems more sure footed less wheel spin and rear end breaking loose around corners.

My biggest gripe abot driving in the rain... is it gets everything under the car so dirty. Of course you can wash your car, but right now, mine underneath is so sparkly clean, its nice to work on lol.

i do however LIKE driving in the rain with rear wheel drive for the ease of drifting aspect. Might take mine out later today and give it a "spin" lol

All Lexus (with exception of LFA) are meant to be daily drivers. Seems a little excessive to completely avoid driving your Lexus in the rain. I'd understand if it was hail or snow, but it's just rain. It's a nice car, but not that nice...

With all due respect to my RC friends, A little water never hurt anyone or anything and that includes and RC 350.

That is true, but I have a Black car, and getting it cleaned w/o scratching it is a pain so I don't drive it in the rain if I don't have to. I have other cars that I can use so it's not an issue for me.

All good points. I think there are usually two schools of thoughts with car owners:
1) People that buy cars because they need a vehicle and they drive it wherever they need to go. The still might take excellent care of their car, mod it, baby it, but in the end they drive it all the time.
2) Other group buys the car and it's not a daily driver, but more of a selective use vehicle. They might garage in winter, not drive in rain, etc. Typically they have another vehicle specifically so they don't have to drive their nicer car.

In the end we all probably love driving our RC's and take exceptional care of them.

You are 100%. I fall into category 2, and I love driving my car when I do.

It's not the idea of the car getting wet as it is the car getting hit by other drivers. I've been hit in the rear 3 times in the past 3 years. And that's on dry roads, so my odds are worse on wet roads. I kept my SC430 as my daily driver and was last hit on Jan 3th with $2100 damage. People can't drive in my area.

Don't feel bad. It has rained for almost 5 days straight and every day there are tons of accidents here. I think it has to do with still driving too fast, not leaving enough distance between cars, and being distracted by their phones. Throw in a dose of Stupid and you get PITA drivers.
