Unhappy I think I got screwed hard in my lease deal.

2016 rc200t fsport msrp around 49000
Paying 598.41 for 36month 10,000miles
Got this car 8days ago.
0 down in socal
Residual value is -$31,301.12

Update: 12/20/15
After leaving msg to manager he never called me back.
However the guy who sold me the car visited my business today and I told him people are getting rc350 for 350-450 a month with 2k down. Then he gave told me oh it's just an advertisement to lure people in to buy their cars.. I'm like ok..

Update 12/21/15
Went to dealership they said its too late to change to rc350 or terms
so might as well just enjoy the new car

Wow that high for even with $0 down, my lease was on a 2015 and I put 4K drive off and I'm paying $319 for 24 month which include taxes for 15k miles on an fsport loaded rc350 if I had $0 down my payment would have been about $440 I'm assuming.

What's your residual? That's the big question. All these people paying 349 a month and the residual is like still 40k 3 years later.

I didn't lease but before saying you got screwed that is an important part of the equation and is just common sense.

Ya but residual should be more important if his planning on buying the car at the end.

Dont waste your time. I bet they dont care. Why did you sign paperwork that fast without some research? I know people paying $350-$450 for rc350 $52-55k msrp with 1-2k down.

Residual is important regardless.

That's part of how the actual payment amount is established. Typically a lot of people do decide to keep their cars, if you have a high residual then at the end of the lease it only leaves you with one option...typically those that put down 1k and pay 350 on a 50k plus car will have a high residual. So all in all they are truly just borrowing the car and paying to drive it. Whereas if you wanted to make some kind of financial decision, if you will, you would negotiate the residual where the payments lead up to a lower residual.

Buy hey, I don't make the rules. I prefer just to buy.
