Default Clear Bra

Hey guys, Have any of you done a clear bra on you RC? If so, Can you post some pics so I can see what it looks like. My RC is black so I wanted something to prevent rock chips.

My RC is also Black and I used XPEL. Well worth it as it is 8mm thick and is self-healing, well to a point that is. If you get a good sized rock being flung out of another vehicle going 60 and you are going 60 the impact point is 120 mph. Having said that the XPEL got a gash in it, but it never touched the paint. Hope that helped.

Wow! That looks great! I was worried about seeing the line across my hood but I don't see anything on yours. Did you do the entire hood?

Yes, I did the entire hood and lower front fascia including the headlights, mirrors, front emblem and the gas door. Because of the protection film I also do not have the car washed in any automated car wash as the brushes will mar the film, per the manufacturer.

Oh, I didn't know you could do the headlights. I think I might do that as well. Thanks

I did the headlights, the area around the headlights, the mirrors and the whole hood (no lines). I also did the "shelf" at the trunk (this costs almost nothing). It can't be seen in person, and so photos would serve no purpose. Highly recommended.

I have the front hood, emblem, bumper, side skirts, rear rocker, mirror caps, fogs/headlights/DRL's, and roof done with XPEL.

You definitely cannot see it unless someone points it out to you

I'm not really into the orange RC but for some reason this one seems to catch my eye.

Looks awesome.

An orange car will always catch your eye. That's its function.

i did it at 631coatings on my cars and makes a world of a difference. They use Suntek clear film which doesn't yellow and is thicker and durable than 3m

film

Mr. Mayor - I don't understand. Is there a car in that photo? Oh, never mind - I see it in the back there.
