Someone hit and ran my car! ;(
Hey guys so someone hit and ran my car last night unfortunately and I need to take care of it asap because it's killing me. Any thoughts on how much it could cost. It's on the driver side door.

Some dealers will offer the services of a quick repair contractor, on-site, who addresses minor dings, dents, and scratches. An inexpensive option with often amazing results. I also saw "Paint-less dent removal" as part of most insurance coverages. Might not be so bad, if the paint is not compromised. Good luck with your efforts.

That really sucks; so sorry that happened to your baby. I feel your pain. I too suggest checking to see if amenable to a paint-less dent repair. Results can be excellent, not take as long and be much less expensive than anticipated. Let us know what was decided. You'll feel much better when it's taken care of.

Noooooo Who would do such a thing and drive off? I feel bad, but thank goodness that it doesn't look that bad that the paint got skimmed off. A dent repair should do the trick! I looked on my local Craig's List under Services, then Automotive. A local guy came out and did work on my previous car before I got my RC and popped my rear side bumper back in for a negotiated $80 and it looks as good as new. Good luck and I'm sorry that had to happen to you.

I had a similar situation where someone put a dent in the passengers side door right on the crease. My body shop guy recommend a paintless dent repair guy. I called him and he came to my home. He got there in 2 hours, spent 1 hour and removed the dent. You cannot tell it was ever there.

Do not visit a dealer. They will bring a 2nd party to do it and charge you 2X!
Find a PDR on yelp in your area and give them a call will be half the cost what dealer quotes you I promise.

It doesn't hurt to check with the Dealer, they deal with these issues everyday. A local dealer not only offered a solution, they also comped the paint-less repair cost on a past vehicle that was out of warranty.
