Default Glare with gauge cluster

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but on sunny days when looking at my gauge cluster I find it hard to read since the glare is pretty harsh. I tried adjusting the lighting on it but it seems to be the actually glass/plastic that is causing the problem. Has anyone tried like an anti-glare coating on it?

Ya that is what I'm thinking also. It gets real irritating since I cant see my gauge cluster, esp driving on the freeway.

I have 25% all around still no luck, just not on the windshield which where all the sun comes from. Kind of a pain to tint that part esp at night time.

That might be the only solution. To make the mater worse. I have 2014 is350 F,I can barely see anything at all during the afternoon drive home.

Yep, I'm having the same issue. My windows are tinted, and depending on the sunlight angle it is almost impossible to read the gauges at certain times of the day. I think it has to do with the angle of the lens, which we can't fix.

its a bit unconventional and possibly a bit of a long shot... anyone want to try using glare control window film on the instrument cluster?

I just realized it while driving home yesterday, the glare is not caused by direct sun light, it is caused by sun light being reflected from steering column.

Is this an F-Sport problem, mine is not an F-Sport and I do not have the issues you are mentioning?

So instead of getting film on lens, is there anything that can be put on steering column to reduce the light being reflected?

Honestly I wouldn't know if putting any matte material on the steering column would help. I just tried putting like a towel on the steering column and it still gets reflected on the lens. So basically you would have to put some anti glare film on the gauge glass / plastic. Not sure if they make like an anti glare film. I would have to ask my tint / wrap shop.
