Default Question from 3IS Owner to RC Owners

Currently in a 2015 3IS F sport that is modded and started floating the idea of jumping in the new 200t RC if they come out. Was curious to see if you guys think the RC will feel underpowered with the Turbo. I know the RC curb weight isn't the best, neither is the IS for that matter.

I know the turbo will probably be a little slower than the 3.5 V6 and not worried about that. Just wanted to hear from some gear heads what their prediction is on how the RC will pair with the new turbo. Think it will be quick and functional? Think it will be n underpowered dog? ...

Thanks!

I think it will feel underpowered. People are already complaining about the RC350 with its rather unimpressive 0-60 of 5.8 seconds, so slotting in a smaller engine with less horsepower and torque with similar weight will definitely make it feel slow. The only positive of the 200t might be aftermarket tuning...

Lexus needs to make a 350t already!

I wouldn't even consider it in a million years.
However, I'm not you. Seems you don't care about lack of power. You are driving an IS250 so it prolly won't be much different. In that case go for it. If you're a coupe man.

This car is too heavy. I like the fact that its heavy for a smooth ride. Wish it had more power. Get an RcF if your looking for power and can afford it. Its a great looking car and the backseats are useless like thw RC's backseats for me
