Merry Christmas to you too. You don't have to reset anything, just install and have fun. Now if you disconnected the battery to do the install then your ECU would automatically have been reset. Enjoy!!!!

Bought my GF this Takeda for Xmas and installed yesterday. Man! It sounds amazing and u can feel the difference in performance. The install was smooth although there are a lot of parts to put together. Don't do what I did and forget to put the foam strips around the intake box to seal it from the rest of the engine bay. I had to do mine twice. But everything fit perfectly and is extremely sturdy. 2 thumbs up to Takeda for a quality product. Only 1 thing that wasnt perfect was the MAF sensor wouldn't go perfectly flush down into the hole but with the O rings still seal perfectly and no codes etc popped up. It's in there pretty good. My girl loves it and can't wait to drive it today to hear and feel the difference herself.

Thanks guys. I'm so impressed, I'm considering parting with my fsport intake in my 2IS 250 for a takeda of my own. I need to do more research ad see if it's as beneficial. I can't barely hear my intake in my IS.

Does this intake come pre-oiled? Do I need to apply the oil before installing the intake and where do I get the oil?

Did you get the oiled or dry version? If oiled it should be pre-oiled.

You can get the oil from AutoZone and even Walmart in the Automotive section.
