Lightbulb Driver & passenger seat
Guys ... Can you please tell me why is this on both the driver and passenger seats. What is the purpose?

To put your seatbelt. Holds the seatbelt there so you don't have to reach back to put it on each time.

This is not needed of 4 door sedans. I had these in my SC430. It's a convenience feature which is more convenient the less the back seat is used.
