Default Installing Springs

Still waiting for my car to ship from Cali to Indiana, but I figured I would see if anyone on here knows of anyone or can recommend anyone in the Indiana/Ohio/Kentucky area to help me get some springs installed on my car once it is here. (I know that I can do it on my own, but just nervous doing something like this on my own for the first time.)

Also any downsides to lowering the car if I will be driving it in the snow?

Sorry can't help about the springs as I barely get into my driveway now so I won't be lowering it, and I don't track it.

Instead of going over the snow you will become a snow plow. It depends on the amount of snow you normally have to deal with on a yearly basis.

4" of snow on the ground, no problem. Anymore than that will be challenging like with most cars.
I have the Tanabe GS spring kit and with them installed there is still 6" of ground clearance under the nose of the car. Where in Indy are you? I'd be interested in helping possibly.

I am currently in Evansville, moving up to Indianapolis in July. 6" of clearance does not sound bad, but the weather here is so unpredictable.

I'm from Columbus, OH, and I have an AWD RC350 lowered on Tanabe springs, with an additional coil removed to suit my preference. There is PLENTY of clearance with my setup to drive in snowy conditions, as verified through the recent winter.

DO IT!!
