Lexus Is ES GS LS RX GX LX LFA Footwell Courtesy Step Door LED Light Replacement | eBay

Just wondering why the full lamp replacement is "better" than a bulb swap? Some of us like the subtle look with the crispness of the white led lighting instead of overly bright replacements as if you're trying to contact aliens (and obviously scream aftermarket). Just saying - brighter doesn't mean better.

I ordered these for my door lights and the seller hooked it up with some extras without even asking, so I replaced the interior trunk bulb as well. Only $1.52 shipped and they look great!

To each their own my friend. His was a matter of opinion as is yours. And your opinion of brighter doesn't mean better is also an opinion of your own and not of everyone else. I personally really like the ground area illuminated when stepping out of my vehicle on a dark night. This isn't a forum intended for only owners of stock Lexus', that don't "scream aftermarket". I have yet to contact an alien in the past few years I've had these, but ill keep my eye out.

Excellent. It is always a gamble when ordering these lights as sometimes they are not that bright as advertised, but you having them installed and giving them a good review helps.

My bad. Didn't mean to come off harsh. Just saying that aftermarket bulb is plenty sufficient without buying the whole fixture.

Ive done a bulb swap with courtesy lights, these assemblies with an embedded LED panel are way better. White light and a lot more light, it has 18 SMDs mounted on it, a single bulb swap cant come close to that. It is not an annoying bright either. These are pointed to the ground anyways, something you want lit up when its dark.

for those interested heres a US seller of them, some are from china so youll get faster shipping with the US ones

No worries bud. Different options for people's personal preferences, that's all.

Yes I got them from the link you sent me, and they were super fast on the shipping. That is strange that yours are taking longer.

No, they were delivered to my PO Box today, and I have to stop tonight to get them, that is if the wife wants to stop. LOL

I hear you about being too hot. If I get them tonight I'll put them in the AM and post a couple of pics.
