The RC has these vents or what appear to be vents (towards the outer ends of the rear bumper cover) complete with strakes or ribs a la testarossa. Are they functional or just eye candy?

The vents on the side of the Testarossa were technically functional, moving air into the radiators, but almost nobody knew or cared, as they created a spectacular styling statement. Same thing here, but a bit less spectacular. At this point, I don't know if they serve any purpose; they look great, which I think is their purpose. It worked for me, as I ordered one recently and will sell my SC430.

it doesnt even look like a vent... RC-F has vents, this is just styling.

I dont like it at all, the RC-F dont have those vents and it looks perfect.

Personally, I don't like them but it wouldn't keep me from getting the car. I would probably have them painted body color.

Non Functional..

The RC will also have the same issue the MY14 IS sedan has... The Fenders Taper INWARD towards the tire..

Which makes aftermarket agreesive tire fitments a PITA..

Those vents are the one thing I don't like on the RC.

Reminds me of those "other vents" I hate...
