Default PS Request - Gunmetal and/or Black Painted Wheels

Hi Everyone,

I was hoping someone with some PS skills can see how the OEM rims would look painted gunmetal and black on my RX350 I just bought yesterday.

Thank You!

Check out the thread below, it shows a white RX400h with the stock 18" wheels in black.

You're welcome! You can always plasti dip the wheels to see if you like them blacked and decide if you want to get them painted or powder coated.

I did it to my wife's IS250 stock wheels. I used about 1 can per wheel, plus "glossifier" to give them a nice satin sheen. We sold the car, but here's how it turned out:

Thanks for sharing. I've thought about plastidip as it's easy and non-permanent.

And it looks good with the glossifer. I'd always thought the flat black wheels lack something in contrast to shiny "just-washed" tires around them but the glossifer fixes that.

I agree. My experience with matte black
Plasti dip is that it looks great when it's brand new, but starts to look really bad when it gets dirty/dusty. Glossifier and a little 303 protectant makes a big difference

Found a pic online of my color with blacked out wheels and grille also.

Bonus points for being the same color as mine.

In case anyone else is interested:
