going nuts trying to figure out what i did to a text box that now has a circle control on it.
can't find anything online about this, so hoping someone here knows!

i can still edit the text, but i get a solid border shown (vs. dotted for a normal paragraph text box) and the open circle control...



any help appreciated!

Bit, did you ever find out how to fix it?

I haven't encountered anything like that before. Only thing I can think of is check your history for that layer, see if there's a certain attribute you might have accidently applied to it.. Sorry I can't be for more help, that's the only thing I can think of at the moment.

hey there, no never did figure out what happened!
about layer history, after a file is closed/reopened, can i still check its history?

your post reminded me to dig into this again (thanks for sending me down the rat hole again, lol )...

i THINK somehow i've created a path for the text (it shows under paths tab, but not other text boxes without the issue). for some reason i can't delete the path, but maybe that's the issue.
