Default someone photoshop the roof for me..

i have seen black shiny roof on a white colour car and i think it looks awsome so i might one day do mine too but want to see how it looks. Just one thing tho this ES300 is not aligned with the rear glass so i am not sure which is the best looking way to cover the sides of the roof. Here is the picture.

I would say it needs to follow the roof lines, otherwise it will probably look "stuck on".
This picture is a really bad angle for viewing what it would look like. Can you take some pics where more of the car is shown, and instead of a side or front/back view, try to get a angled shot. Like facing the driver side headlight... if that makes any sense.

gotchya i will take one as soon as the weather is sunny..but from the looks of it i dont like it. especially the back. Its not aligned with the glass. But what if you were to follow the lines of rear glass and have it like in an angle..something like this...(mine sucks )
Also is it possible to make it glossy like the sunroof..

Yeah I was thinking that, but I can't tell from the picture how deep the "gutter" is. if that indention smoothes out soon enough it would probably look ok to do it the way you suggested. If you can get a few more pics, especially ones that show the peaks and valleys around that area I could experiment with a few scenarios.
