Yeah, I would have bet on them being exactly the same size – what I mean is that IN MY OPINION, those letters could be SLIGHTLY wider (not taller) than the others. I don’t even know if you can do that – I’m assuming that you can “draw a box around a letter” and “stretch” it horizontally, JUST A FRACTION. To me, it’s a visual thing, like proportional spacing – the visual “weight” of a letter impacts what the reader sees, thus a lower-case “i” doesn’t “weigh” as much as a capital “M” and doesn't get alloted as much space.

Like I said, if I were CEO of the client company, I’d ask if it could be tried. I could be wrong – maybe you try it and don’t feel that it improves the look - but if I knew how, I’d try it. Like I said – it really does look nice, I’m just offering constructive criticism.
