I took this GS from the gallery. It is GSDREAMER's.

Does anyone know of a way to free-resize a photo in photoshop 6? I can resize the canvas, but I don't know how to resize the picture on the canvas I am working on.

Nick,
First thing EDIT>CANVAS SIZE is your best bet.
If you want to resize yourself this may be better.

Depending on the quality of the picture this may work:

CLick on layer you want to resize then go to EDIT>FREE TRANSFORM.
Now grab the box in the left upper corner and hold down the SHIFT button..(very important) now move to the right on an angle. like i said this may work depending on the picture
Hope i was helpful because i owe you one

Yeah that's your best bet, also use the individual ones like skew and perspective to make it look more realistic. Also don't use free trnasform that much as it eventually will make the picture look blurry.

Yeah, definitely. I remember that trick back from my Microsoft Publisher '97 and have always checked to see that the programs I use have that ability. Very handy.

Not being able to resize was really limiting my photoshop abilities There's no stopping me now...muahaha!! Before, I was using another program to resize. I mean, who reads the manual anyway
