you use photoshop.
it's actually quite easy. you just press ctrl-T and stretch/shrink the pics until the lines match up, then use a fuzzy eraser to erase the border lines and try to blend the pics together.
i didn't feel like spending much time, so you can see I didn't do a complete job of fuzzy erasing, as a few people in the pic don't have legs.
try to find Waldo...

ya know there is a lot easier way to do it... it's by Microsoft called ICE... free download, even made in 64 bit version, and less than 3 MB... requires almost 0 user interaction, and accounts for aspherical stretching as well...
these particular pictures, because of depth of field, benefitted from an aspherical aspect...
here are the results, both full frame uncropped, and cropped, with NO user interaction, and no Photoshop whatsoever: (and all my guys still have their legs)
(if you want the full size files, PM me your e-mail address)

this was pre-photoshop, and there is really only one small section where the photos don't line up properly, and only one other that they line up, but are off colored...
this was made up of 8 pictures, taken just by a handheld camera...

in photoshop you can use photo merge to create a near perfect stitch every time. no reason to do it by hand when the software is pretty darn good on its own
take my sig for example it is a 7 or 8 shot stitch done using photo merge
