Default Custom Alpine I-Personalize Wallpaper *PLEASE READ*

I found a guy that can actually make compatible wallpaper for the I-Personalize feature. I need someone to make a kickass-hold-nothing-back ClubLexus wallpaper for me and all of our fellow members. Pull out all the stops. Please make several versions so we can all approve of it beforehand because the process of getting this thing converted is time consuming and Im not the only person that knows about this. I would like to see this as the official unofficial CL Alpine wallpaper like the decals we get.

Here is an example of the before picture and what it looks like after the Alpine GUI has been overlayed. I did this so you will know exactly where to put the ClubLexus logo.

If I may request the first color combinations I would appreciate it. Black/White to match my exterior.

Pics must be in 720x480 and BMP format. Im pretty sure we are limited to only 32k after compression which will be handled by the man. Please follow these steps:

* Use solid colors on as much of the image as possible.
* The lower quantity of color transitions, the more compressable an image is.
* Yes less colors helps, but its only because it implies less color transitions.

I really suck at PS but I figured this would be nice to have as a generic layout. Due to the GUI and the angled CD I thought it would be best to align the basic ClubLexus piece towards the bottom and to the left. I lack creativity but I managed to create this to get everyone started. Im sure we can all agree that this would be the best starting point.

I didnt really feel like counting pixels from the original Sonic pic compared to what we are working with in the applied shot. With this information we could know the EXACT real estate we have to work with so I dont know if this thing is properly centered or not.

You can Email me at thelexbox@gmail.com or msg on AIM at "thelexbox" and I can send the PSD files for what I have so far.

Lexbox what size is the screen... BEcause that sega one looks distorted, which leads me to believe that those are not the correct dimensions for the background.

This is exactly what the guy said to use. The more I look at the applied shot the less I can tell that it may be distorted. Im looking at the eyes, nose, and the side of the face and it looks very close to me. But you are right I believe that it could be distorted. After looking at the Alpine website the native resolution of the screen is "480 x 234."

I'm interested but I didn't reply because I kind of wanted to use my own image. As much as we all like this forum I'm not sure everyone wants to have a forum logo on their decks 24/7.

Thanks for looking into it. The Kenwood ones are so boring, they were actually better on the KVT 911 DVD than the 915 DVD
