Default Dyno run

So I ran my car on a dyno and it put down 264hp... wonderING why it's so low. This is a stock number.. I have true custom cold air intake, mid pipe, and tsudo axleback, I know I won't get much but I would have thought I would get more than that.. I know all dynos are not created equal, but Damn them numbers kinda suck!! Lol

Ouch. This hurts the eyes.

Side note...do you have a sound clip of the Tsudo exhaust? I was thinking about picking one up. Thank you

I hope you weren't expecting the 306. that's not how it works unless the car is underrated in specs.

thats about 14% difference between the rated 306 HP and what's being measured at the wheel (your dyno). I always thought that percentage drop is average and in line with most cars difference between crank and wheel.

So how much, really, do aftermarket wheels increase performance? Does spending $3000 on new wheels actually have a significant effect on performance? How much do stock 18in f sport wheels weigh?

The weight of the 18" F Sport wheels is listed here, post #2. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...t-18-rims.html

There is an advantage to having lighter, durable, quality (i.e., forged) wheels despite there not being any noticeable performance-related gains.

Whats causing the popping sounds? You'll have to do a 0-60 for us :-)

on my 07 infiniti g35 with a similar engine I made around 245whp stock and it was rated 306hp crank from the factory or maybe 298hp i don't remember, so 264whp with just bolt-ons and no tune seems reasonable. these v6 making 300hp are already very optimized from the factory so they don't see huge gains from basic bolt on modification. At least that was my experience. A Good custom tune would probably give you results similar to mesh's results.

326whp is impressive. What's your redline after the tune?
