Muffler delete without losing velocity: Super small pipe?

Well I think the touring Medallion model as shown in the video comes with resonators in the Tanabe Y pipe, just like stock. In my opinion, it doesn't sound a whole lot different than stock. It still has a muted-whoosh noise.
I think the Hyper Medallion model deletes the resonators. This is still quiet! It just has a more pleasing rumble, with more detail, texture, and crisp.
As a DIY, be prepared to get new bolts, nuts, and washers as well. I had to cut off my old ones because they were so rusted. YMMV of course, but you will need new gaskets regardless, and I highly recommed high temp copper silicone on the gaskets. Use in abundance. I cleaned my flanges with a dremel, got new gaskets, and still had exhaust leaks until I used the silicone. Other parts of my exhaust that were welded obviously did not have this problem.
