Default True duel exhaust, video included.. Any tips?

I wanted a deep, muscle car tone from my exhaust. And I got what i wanted.

True duel exhaust, 2.25 from the cat back and 3 inch from the axel back.

NO mufflers, NO resonators, NO Y pipe, all straight pipe, with the pipe size being bumped up to 3" for a slightly deeper tone. Very happy with the sound.

Heres a Cold start in garage

And a buddy of mine giving it some gas, engine warmed up.

I went with 2.25 so i could keep some back pressure and hopefully not loose much torque. I Still lost some and can really feel the power now in the high RPM range. Im starting to think the Y pipe was there for torque. Should my next move be an H pipe? What are ur guys thoughts? I talked to the guy at the exhaust shop and he said the Y is old news, and possibly An X or H would be very benificial in my case. Im thinking H, since the X from what i read works almost like an Y. It suctions the exhaust pulses so it flows faster out the exhaust. So in my mind, a H pipe with all my exhaust restrictions removed, should even things out. Please feel free to correct me if i am wrong

An H pipe should put some restriction in the exhaust right? I was on lextreme and read a thread that said the stock exhaust was already perfect for the NA 1uz/3uz just the center Y was a tad small and bumping it to 2.5 just at the Y was best to increase flow.

It is a little raspy over 4k but at low RPM its really really deep. Also im not done with the exhaust. I am thinking a H pipe paired with some borla XR1's will still keep the tone deep and possibly eliminate the rasp

if it makes you happy thats all that matters. throw a supercharger on there or turbo and call it a day. but yes, you need some way to keep up the scavenging effect. an h pipe would be the cheapest route.

say playa! I've been considering some aero turbine mufflers part number 2540i. they sound wicked and will get rid of the rasp sound. check them out on youtube. apparently NASCAR runs those mufflers. no bull****.
