Thank God it's finally Monday! (Never thought I'd say that)

My baby on the lift

The ugly OEM mid pipe

And the straight pipe that replaced my stock resonator. Time to get these old pipes off!

So far I like it. Has a deeper tone to it for sure. However in terms of loudness it's only a slight bit louder in my opinion. Gives the exhaust a few more pops when revving too.

Now to be honest i do like this midpipe but seeing as how before this I had a Resonator delete along with my Tsudo I think I'm gonna remove the resonator from the Megan now. It's weird since I wanted to lessen the drone in my car but honestly..? I miss it lol.

I'll try and upload a decent clip of my exhaust when I can. I'll also post another clip of my Car with Res delete for comparison.

And now I just deleted the Resonator

I can safely say it's louder than before the midpipe was on.. And louder than having the Megan Resonator still on. I like it this way.

I have my dearly loved drone again lol. It's not crazy levels of drone or anything though , but enough so that if your next to me, you know I have an exhaust. That is.. If the huge 4.5" tips don't give it away lol

Old pipes and new pipes right after installation. Old =bottom New= top

And off with the resonator!

Here is a really short clip of my car with the Megan installed. Video doesn't do it justice and is louder in person.

And this was the car BEFORE the midpipe but with the Resonator gone...

I'll upload a new clip tomorrow with the Megan Mid but with the resonator gone.

I like how those larger tips are sucked up tight closer to the GFX rear lip. Tried to get my GFX-tipped factory exhaust with matching GFX rear lip to look like that with "race" exhaust hangers, but ended up getting shipped the wrong size of hanger. Definitely an improvement, but not exactly where I wanted it to be I guess.

Great you like the sound; not my cup of tea, but all that matters is that you like it!

Thanks, You don't really hear that rasp all that much in person though. Although the video may make it seem like it... But yeah it's an improvement for sure from what I had. I can now finally hear my 3k and above range with my exhaust loud and clear and in the end that's all I really wanted lol.

Out of curiosity, what exhaust set up are you running if you don't mind me asking?

^PPE headers bolted to a stock exhaust. The only exhausts I like are insanely expensive; so recently I've been researching my own DIY setup. It'll take time because I want to do it once and be done.

Example of what I want :

Wow those sound pretty amazing. Too bad the suruga is ridiculously expensive though. I'm not even sure if they still sell it?

Hey do you think that sound can be achieved with a custom exhaust?

^Yeah, and I agree; I'd never spend that much on an exhaust. But you can replicate the sound with a similar twin loop setup for a faction of the cost. My PPE headers into a custom mid straight pipe into a custom twin loop muffler.
