I know we're all skeptical because we have been burned in the past but this is entirely different this time around, the ISF ECU has been officially cracked, protocols and hardware to flash it released. Tuners can go in and actually modify the original base maps INSIDE the OEM ISF ECU. It's not a piggy back or other Micky Mouse options of the past where the ECU can learn and detune those devices out making them useless, this is the real deal this time.

They said they will work on the RCF next and I'm sure with the knowledge gain it will trickle down and probably the 2IS 250/350's will be next.

This is some very exciting news to hear. I just hope they get to working on the 250/350 engine soon while I still have my is350.

Imagine if they can make the "gear limiter" to a real transmission where you can shift it like the isf

That would just be plain awesome. I can only imagine how much more I could enjoy my car with the ability to legitimately change gears and not just select them. It would be great if they could improve the responsiveness of the manual mode too to make shift more instant. That along with a higher redline and more power would really entice me to get headers and on my car as well since they don't do enough for me to want them at the moment. UGGGHHH!! Somebody just tune our freakin cars already ! Lol

Basically they are advertising to the world on their website that they have cracked the ecu; being able to "read" and "write" to the factory ecu. Plus the first link just mentioning they work on Toyota and Lexus tunes quite often is good to know.

Wish I could figure more out about their "K-TAG" tuning capabilities. It would only elaborate if i had a log-in.

But are they stating that they just cracked only the ISF ECU? Or are they implying that they basically figured out how to tap into any Lexus ECU, thus giving hope for us 250/350 owners? I'm really hoping it's the latter.

They've definitely cracked the IS-F ecu and posted this on their website. They might have something in the works for the 250/350, but it's not posted on the site. All I know is that they have the skills necessary to make it happen. Plus, here's a convenient form to fill out to have them work on any other ecu to crack. Unfortunately you need a log-on :
